Product description: This voluntary recall is for the Dettson Hydra Revolution Electric Boiler, an electric hot water boiler used in homes. Only the 24 kW, 27 kW and 29 kW models are affected by this recall. The model number can be found on the nameplate on the right hand side of the unit. The following model numbers are affected by the recall:

Hazard identified: If the unit is improperly connected, a malfunction of the power board may cause a short-circuit, thus posing a fire hazard. As of March 18, 2021, the company has received one report of fire causing damage in the immediate area of the boiler, and two reports indicating no damage.

Consumers should immediately contact Dettson Industries Inc. for a free replacement unit to be installed by a certified installer.
