Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the driver of a vehicle that struck a marked police vehicle in early February.

At approximately 1:45 p.m. on February 2, East Division Patrol officers attempted to stop a vehicle in a parking lot in the 200 block of Victoria Road in Dartmouth. When the officers activated their vehicle’s emergency lights, the suspect vehicle attempted to flee and ended up colliding with the rear of the police vehicle. The suspect vehicle then left the area at a high rate of speed. The officers were not injured, and the vehicle was not pursued due to safety concerns.

The driver is described as a white man in his late teens to early twenties, approximately 5’9”, thin build with dark hair. At the time of the incident he was wearing a red and black Under Armour hooded sweater, jeans and black and white sneakers.
