Police are investigating a robbery that occurred overnight in Halifax .

At approximately 1:59 am. police responded to a robbery in progress at the Needs convenience located at 33 Herring Cove Rd in Halifax.​ A man entered the store and demanded cash. The man fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no reported injuries.

The suspect is described as a white man, in his 30s. At the time he was wearing a gblack parka with a red sweatshirt underneat; glasses and a black mask.

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred​ this morning​ in Halifax .

At approximately​ 4:35 am. police responded to a robbery in progress at the​ Irving convenience located at 5450 Inglis St.​ in Halifax.​ A man entered the store, threaten the clerk with a syringe​ and demanded cash. The man fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. There were no reported injuries.

The suspect is described as a white man, in his 50s, wearing all black clothing and a black mask.​

The investigation is in the early stages and investigators are asking anyone with information about the suspect or video from the area to contact police at 902-490-5016.
