Scentsy Luminary Jack and Bless This Home Warmers recalled due to Fire Hazard

Common name: Scentsy Luminary Jack and Bless This Home Warmers

Product description: This recall involves two Scentsy decorative wax warmers. The Luminary Jack warmer is dark grey in colour with pumpkin cut outs. The Bless This Home warmer is white and grey in colour, and is the shape of a house with window cut outs. Both warmers have a small container for wax, a light bulb to heat the wax, and a cord to power the unit.

Hazard identified: The electrical components of the warmers may be corroded posing a fire hazard. As of December 8, 2020, due to Scentsy’s recall efforts, Scentsy has received 158 reports of non-functioning warmers or images of cut-cords in Canada, and no reports of injuries. In the United States, the company has received 2,605 reports of non-functioning warmers or images of cut-cords and no reports of injuries.

What you should do

Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled warmer and contact Scentsy for information on how to receive a refund for the Luminary Jack Warmer, and for instructions on how to check for corrosion on the Bless This Home Warmer.
