**** Via Truro Police
At approximately 2:47 this morning, the Truro Police Service responded to a motor vehicle collision on Willow St involving a vehicle that struck a power pole. The male driver of the vehicle was arrested for impaired driving and sustained serious injury in the collision.
The investigation is ongoing and the identity of the male is not being released until charges are laid. This collision resulted in the loss of power in the area of the collision for a period of time while NS Power made the necessary repairs.
