“Today all HRFE stations will fly their flags at half-mast from sunrise to sunset to mark Vimy Ridge Day, in remembrance of the Battle of Vimy Ridge.

3,598 Canadians were killed and another 7,000 wounded during the World War I battle. We owe them our thanks and our remembrance, lest we forget.
