**ATTENTION PLEASE NOTE**
The Metro Animal Emergency Clinic has gone through many changes in the past 27 years. First, we were open only nights and weekends; then, during the day as well but only as support for critical and emergency transfers from other hospitals; and finally, as being open 24 hours, 7 days a week to all patients and clients. We adapt to serve our community in the way it needs the most.
The veterinary landscape has changed significantly in the past several years and we are adapting once again to provide the very best service possible for our clients and colleagues.
The Metro Animal Emergency Clinic will be temporarily condensing our hours of availability. Effective immediately our hours will be as follows :
Thursdays : 6pm until 8am
Fridays : 6pm until Monday 8am
The rest of the week the Metro Animal Emergency Clinic will be closed. Your family veterinary team has a plan in place for after hours service.
Condensing our hours will allow us to focus our staffing resources on the times it is needed most and to support the other hospitals of the HRM in the best way possible. As always, our goal is to provide the very highest standards in emergency and critical care for pets of the HRM and beyond.
