Retired HRP badge stolen

Halifax District RCMP received a report of a wallet that was stolen which contained a retired police officer badge.

Between 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., on March 29, an unlocked vehicle parked on Dyke Rd. in Grand Desert was broken into and a wallet was stolen.​ The wallet included a retired Halifax Regional Police (HRP) officer badge.

The badge is gold in color and look the same as the current HRP badge with the word RETIRED on it.
