Police investigate suspicious fire

Police are investigating a suspicious fire that occurred in Halifax this morning.

At approximately 2:15 a.m. police and Halifax Regional Fire and Emergency responded to a fire at the exterior of a building in the 3300 block of Romans Avenue. Firefighters extinguished the fire and there were no reported injuries.

Investigators believe the fire was deliberately set and are asking anyone who has information in relation to the incident or video from the area to contact police at 902-490-5020. Anonymous tips can be sent to Crime Stoppers by calling toll-free 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submitting a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or by using the P3 Tips app.
