Police investigate weapons call​ in Halifax

On March 22nd at approximately 0420 a.m. Halifax Regional Police responded to reports of neighbours hearing possible gunshots in the area of Tartan​ Avenue, Halifax.

Officers responded and found evidence that a firearm had been discharged, bullet holes were found in a nearby residence, which was unoccupied at the time.

At this​ time there are no reported injuries as a result of this incident and it is not believed that the residence was the intended target.​ The firearm has not been recovered. The investigation is ongoing.
