Police investigate shots fired

​The Integrated RCMP/HRP Criminal Investigation Division is investigating two separate incidents of shots being fired in the community of North Preston.

On May 11 at approximately 6:30 p.m. Halifax District RCMP responded to a report of gun shots being heard on Cain St.​

On May 12 at approximately 4:30 p.m.​ Halifax District RCMP received a report of gun shots being heard near Cain St. and Clarence St.

Preliminary investigation located one home with minor damage, no injuries have been reported. The investigation is ongoing.
