Police investigate shooting.
Update: The investigation into the earlier shooting is ongoing. We believe the suspects are known to one another and believe it to be a targeted incident. The male arrested earlier is still in custody and our Integrated General Investigative Section are continuing to work on the file.

Police are investigating a shooting that occurred in Halifax.
At approximately 2:50 p.m. police responded to report of a shooting in the parking lot of a restaurant at 3461 Kempt Road. Shots were fired between two vehicles both vehicles then fled the area. It is unknown at this time if anyone was injured.
At this time police have stopped one of the vehicles believed to have been involved in the incident and have one suspect in custody.
The investigation is in the early stages and is ongoing. Updates will be provided when available.
