Police investigate robbery​ – Halifax

Halifax Regional Police are investigating a robbery that occurred this morning in Halifax.

At 1:44 a.m. on April 6, officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Irving Gas Station located at 15 Fairfax Drive. A male entered the Gas Station and told the employee to give him the safe and money from the till or he would stab him. The suspect left with a small safe, money from the till and cigarettes which he placed in a reusable Sobeys bag. No knife was seen. The suspect was last seen leaving on foot towards Parkland Drive. The employee was not injured.

The suspect is described as a white male, early 20’s, 5’8”, medium build, short blond hair (buzz cut style). He was wearing a light black windbreaker style jacket with a hood and had a bluish/green medical mask covering his face.
