Police Investigate Personal Watercraft Collision – Halifax Harbour

At 7:17 p.m., on the 26th of June, Halifax Regional Police received a 911 call reporting two personal watercraft colliding on Halifax Harbour near the MacDonald Bridge. ​ ​ A 15 year old male operating one of the watercraft sustained serious life threatening injuries.​

The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifax was notified and vessels were dispatched to assist.​ Another personal watercraft rescued the injured male, bringing him to Emergency Health Services Paramedics on the Dartmouth Waterfront.​ The injured male was then transported to the Hospital.

It is unknown at this time if any charges are pending, the investigation is in the early stages and is ongoing.​
