Police Investigate Personal Watercraft Collision – Halifax Harbour
At 7:17 p.m., on the 26th of June, Halifax Regional Police received a 911 call reporting two personal watercraft colliding on Halifax Harbour near the MacDonald Bridge. A 15 year old male operating one of the watercraft sustained serious life threatening injuries.
The Joint Rescue Coordination Centre in Halifax was notified and vessels were dispatched to assist. Another personal watercraft rescued the injured male, bringing him to Emergency Health Services Paramedics on the Dartmouth Waterfront. The injured male was then transported to the Hospital.
It is unknown at this time if any charges are pending, the investigation is in the early stages and is ongoing.
