Hey Kids(big and small), and East Coast Water loving families!
Lawrencetown Beach Surfers Alliance is Super stoked to be hosting the 1st annual LSA kids(grom) surfing competition, expression session and outdoor movie night. ????♂️????♀️
One day Event.. if mother nature cooperates.
August 29th – 9am-3pm Surfing event
August 29th – Dusk- Outdoor Movie
August 30th – alternative date if needed
Come out and be apart of the fun!! ????????????
****Here’s the Breakdown****
The event is $10 per family(all sub-events are included in price)
MOVIE PART
-Outdoor projector Movie night-Aug 29th
-Held in the parking lot of The Tea room on the west facing wall(the entrance wall to Kannon Beach Surf Shop)
-Chairs provided by Lawrencetown community center
-Snacks, popcorn and drinks provided by Lawrencetown beach Cafe.
-Kid friendly Surf Movie (Surfs up)
-Movie starts at dusk!
-Covid19 guidelines will apply
-4144 Lawrencetown Rd. highway 207
SURFING PART
-At Lawrencetown Beach, between west entrance by the new surfers platform and Lawrencetown point.
-August 29 9am- 3pm(one day)
**August 30 9am(back-up date)**
-competitive and non-Competitive event
-open to ages 3 to 16
-snacks/bbq on site
COMPETITIVE -Kids(groms) – Surfing Competition
-3 age categories(to be determined)
-1st, 2nd, 3rd place in each age category
-Competitive and judged with prizes
-all competitors receive personalized participation award
NON-COMPETITIVE -Kids(groms) Surfing expression session/free surf
-3 age categories(to be determined)
-non competitive, not judged expression session/free surf.
– all participants receive a personalized participation award.
(Competitive and Non-Competitive held same day- back to back)
Any additional prizes will be drawn for at surfing event…. we have lots! ????
**BONUS EVENT FOR PARENTS/GUARDIANS**
1st annual Rock throwing event!!
-Rock throwing(tossing)
-Hit the can, closest to the can
————????Trophy Event????———–
1st place Trophy and grand prize (to be announced)
And bragging rights for a full year!!

**Space is limited so register ASAP**
We would like parents/guardians to register and be paid by August 23rd. This is to ensure your kid(s) will receive their personalized award(these are super cool hand crafted personalized trophies).. you won’t want to miss out on your kid(s) getting one.
-We need to know number of participants(and ages) to organize the heats and divisions.
– Also, we need to know how many seats for the movie night, snacks and drinks.
**HOW TO REGISTER**

2. please state: competitive or non-Competitive for each kid

We would prefer all payments to be made by interact e-transfer to sjbelfield@gmail.com.
$10 by August 23rd.
If this is not possible other payment options can be made.. please still register and add a payment option in the email.
