Common name: Honda EU2200i and Honda EB2200i Portable Generators
Product description: The EU2200i generator has a black front cover and black metal frame. The words “HONDA” in white lettering and model number “EU2200i” in red lettering with a white outline are printed on the front of the generator (black control panel). The EB2200i generator has a black front cover and black metal frame. The words “HONDA” in white lettering and model number “EB2200i” in white lettering with a red outline are printed on the front of the generator (black control panel).

Hazard identified: If exposed to salt water, salt water may enter the area of the AC output connector inside the generator, posing a fire hazard.
Consumers should immediately stop using the recalled generators and contact an authorized Honda dealer to schedule a free repair.
