UPDATE: man wanted on province-wide arrest warrant has been arrested

Derek Oliver, 34, who was wanted out of Annapolis County on a province-wide arrest warrant has been arrested.

The RCMP would like to thank the public for their shares on social media.

 

Derek Oliver wanted by police on province-wide warrant

Middleton RCMP has obtained a warrant for the arrest of a man who has been charged with a number of offences that originated on March 6 in Annapolis County.

Derek James Oliver, 30, of Lawrencetown, Annapolis County has been charged with:

  • ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Breach of Undertaking (2 counts)
  • ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​Assault (2 counts)

Oliver is described as being white, 6-foot tall and 175 pounds, with a light complexion, brown hair, brown eyes, with a moustache and goatee. He may be headed towards New Brunswick. When last seen, he was wearing a dark hoodie, jeans, a light coloured toque, and was carrying a dark coloured back pack. ​

Members of the public are asked to not approach Oliver if he is located, and call police. Annapolis RCMP is asking anyone with information on the whereabouts of Derek James Oliver to contact them in Middleton at 902-665-4481.
