Driver arrested for impaired driving after collision into building in Dartmouth
On March 15 at approximately 11:25 p.m., officers responded to a single vehicle collision into Sam’s restaurant, located at 10 Gordon Avenue in Dartmouth.
The driver, who was also the lone occupant at the time, was arrested at the scene without incident and later transported to the hospital for serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
A 21-year-old man is scheduled to appear in Dartmouth provincial court at a later date to face charges of:
- Operation of conveyance while impaired to any degree by alcohol or drugs
- Operation of a conveyance while impaired by alcohol over 80mg.
