Birch Cove Beach, Shubie Park Beach and Cunard Pond Beach recreational water quality advisory lifted
The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that the recreational water quality advisories have been lifted at Birch Cove Beach and Shubie Park Beach in Dartmouth and Cunard Pond Beach in Halifax.
These are supervised beaches. Municipal staff regularly test the water quality at all supervised municipal beaches during July and August.
Previous test results showed high bacteria levels in the water but followup tests show the water is once again within Health Canada guidelines.
