Reckitt, the Maker of Lysol, donates over $300,000 in Lysol Wipes through the Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation for front-line staff and Local Community Groups
The Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation (DGHF) is doing its part to ring in a happy and healthy new year for community groups in HRM. A generous donation from Lysol of 63,000 packs of Lysol disinfectant wipes, will be shared and making their way into the hands of HRM community organizations next week.
This $300,000 CAD gift through the Dartmouth General Hospital Foundation will help make sure the only thing being spread this new year is joy.
DGHF is so pleased to help organizations in our community have a clean, fresh start to 2022.
Lysol approached the Dartmouth General’s Foundation after they heard about the Foundation’s work with not only the Dartmouth General Hospital, but with the community partnerships it focuses on as well.
The wipes, unable to be used in the hospital due to scent restrictions, will be shared with all Dartmouth General Hospital healthcare staff and incredible community organizations in Dartmouth and Halifax, such as the Healthcare Association of African Canadians, University/High School Foodbanks, Shelters, and more. A full list is included below.

Lysol is making substantial donations to good causes in Canada, reaching the most vulnerable communities and non-profit organizations across Canada. Through another incredible partnership with Darren Godbout from Auction Advantage, ASM Couriers have come on board to help store and deliver the wipes to community organizations starting January 17, 2022.
