In photos – Ocean Day at the Museum of the Atlantic in Halifax kicked off with great displays and information about our fragile oceans and those that dwell within, and will continue to monitor (Saturday)
With many interactive displays, and lots of information ranging from what lives in, and depends on, our oceans, this important collection of scientists, conservation groups and Rescue groups come together to shine a very important spotlight on our oceans.
Some displays give you a VRT look at swimming with sharks and whales while some strive to make pollution, including plastics in our seas, a hot topic.
And many of these will be along the Halifax waterfront again on Saturday, mainly clustered near the museum.
And yes, you will still be able to meet Raina the Mermaid on Saturday!
