Police investigate vehicle pedestrian collision
Halifax Regional Police investigated a vehicle pedestrian collision that occurred in Halifax last night.
At approximately 7:35 p.m. officers responded to a report of a pedestrian that was injured in the area of South and Robie streets. The driver of a Halifax Transit bus was turning right onto Robie Street from South Street and struck a pedestrian who was crossing the street in a marked crosswalk.
The pedestrian, a 22-year-old-man, was taken to hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries. The collision remains under investigation.
