Nova Scotia Health requests public’s assistance in locating missing patient

Update: Missing patient located and returned to hospital

Please be advised the patient reported missing on Monday, August 3 has been located and returned to a Halifax hospital.

Nova Scotia Health is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 57-year-old Shane MacLean, who is missing from a Halifax-area hospital.
Mr. MacLean is a caucasian male with a tan, approximately 5’10” and 215lbs.
He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, yellow/tan shorts, a straw fedora, and sunglasses. He has a tattoo on arm.
The patient’s risk to himself and others increases with the length of time he is away from hospital. Anyone with information is asked to please contact their local law enforcement agency.
