Update: Police presence in Dartmouth
There is no longer a police presence on Slayter Street in Dartmouth and the street has been reopened to traffic.
At approximately 10:27 a.m. police responded to a report of a disturbance at residence in the 100 block of Roleika Drive in Dartmouth.
The suspect fled prior to police arrival. Officers believed the suspect was located at an address in the 0-100 block of Slayter Street and contained the area.
After searching the residence on Slayter St., the suspect in question was not located. Members of the Patrol Division are continuing to search for the suspect and the investigation continues.
