Police seek public’s assistance to return found property
Police are requesting the public’s assistance to find the owner of property found in Halifax.
On March 23 at approximately 2:30 p.m. police received a report of an abandoned backpack that was found on March 18 in the area of the Halifax Seaport district. A child’s royal blue L.L. Bean backpack was located on the ground outside of the Northern Watters Knitwear & Tartan Shop. The owner of the property has not been located.
Police are asking the owner or anyone with information about this property to call police at 902-490-5016. To claim the property, you must be able to describe the contents and provide any other information useful in determining ownership.
