Update – The area of 374 Bedford Highway is now open to the public. Police are still on scene conducting an investigation and there will be a visible police presence in the area.

Halifax Regional Police are currently on scene at 374 Bedford Highway in relation to a weapons complaint. There is no immediate threat to the public and police have the area contained. HRP requesting people avoid the area.
