Police continue to investigate the disappearance of Michael Leo Brown 

Update: Missing person found deceased

The​ 49-year-old person who was reported missing from Tantallon in May​  has been located deceased. Their remains were found on June 1 in Tantallon and later positively identified.

The RCMP would like to thank the public for their assistance and retweets on social media. The investigation into the death is continuing, foul play is not suspected

Police are continuing to investigate the disappearance of Michael Leo Brown, 49, who was last seen in Tantallon on May 2. Brown is described as white, 5-foot-6, and 155 lbs. He has black hair and hazel eyes.

Investigators have received tips and information from the public, however, have still not located him. Police are concerned for Brown’s well being and would like anyone who has information to contact them.

When someone goes missing, it has deep and far-reaching impacts for the person and those that know them. We ask that people spread the word through social media respectfully.

The matter is being investigated by the RCMP/ HRP Integrated Criminal Investigation Division, VICE unit.
