The QEII Health Sciences Centre’s Halifax Infirmary site emergency department is experiencing high patient volumes this weekend. Patient waits in the emergency department may be long. We appreciate your continued patience.
Please do not hesitate to visit the QEII emergency department if you are experiencing an emergency.
Anyone with urgent medical needs should call 911.
For non-urgent care, please call your family doctor or visit a walk-in clinic.
For general health advice and information call 811, which is a service offered 24 hours a day, seven days a week by experienced registered nurses.
