Police continue to investigate murder of Donnie Lohnes

Today marks 1 year since the death of Donnie Lohnes of Pine Grove.

On October​ 25,​ 2020, 57-year-old Donald (Donnie) Derrick Lohnes was attacked near a home on Jippie Ave. in Pine Grove.

On November 1, 2020, Donnie died from the injuries he sustained during the attack. His death was determined to be a homicide.

Investigators continue to believe that an additional altercation that occurred on the same day may be related to the homicide. This additional altercation took place in the Dufferin St. area in Bridgewater between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.
