Nova Scotia Health requests public’s assistance in locating missing patient
Update: Missing patient located and returned to hospital
Nova Scotia Health is advising that the patient reported missing from a Dartmouth Hospital on November 3 has been located and returned to hospital.
We thank those who assisted in locating this patient.
Nova Scotia Health is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 28-year-old Marcel David Lawrence, who is missing from a Dartmouth hospital.
Mr. Lawrence is an African-Canadian man who has brown eyes and short dark hair. He stands six feet tall and weighs 232 lbs. He has several tattoos on his face and neck. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a long sleeve white T-shirt, black jacket with fake-fur trimmed hood, and black shoes.
The patient’s risk increases with the length of time he is away from hospital.
Anyone with information is asked to contact their local law enforcement agency.

Police search for missing patient
Halifax Regional Police are searching for a patient who went missing from a Halifax area forensic psychiatric facility yesterday.
On November 2 at approximately 6 p.m., Marcel David Lawrence, 29, was reported to police as having failed to return from a scheduled day pass.
Mr. Lawrence is described as a black man who has brown eyes and short dark hair. He is six feet tall and weighs 232 lbs. He has several tattoos on his face and neck. He was last seen wearing a light grey sweat suit and sneakers.
His risk to himself and others increases with the length of time he is away from treatment.
Police advise citizens to not approach Mr. Lawrence and call 911 if they see him. Anyone with information regarding Mr. Lawrence or his whereabouts is asked to call 902-490-5020.
