Update: Police investigate suspicious package.
Police have completed the investigation into a suspicious package left in the 2700 block of Gottingen Street in Halifax.
It was determined that is was not a threat to public safety and the area has been reopened to the public.

Police are investigating a suspicious package left in the 2700 block of Gottingen Street in Halifax.
Gottingen Street is closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic between Bloomfield Street and Bilby Street. Almon Street is closed to traffic between Gottingen Street and Isleville Street
Police are asking the public to remain away from the area to allow them to conduct the investigation.
