In relation to the stabbing, a 29 year old male is being charged with assault with a weapon, aggravated assault, threats and possession of a weapon .
He was remanded to the Central Nova Scotia Correctional Centre to appear in Halifax Provincial Court this morning at 10am.

Police Investigate Weapons Call (Stabbing) – Halifax
At approximately 10:04 a.m, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a weapons complaint with a male injured at an address in the 0-100 block of Old Sambro Road, Halifax.
Multiple officers responded to the scene and located an adult male with non life threatening injuries consistent with a stab wound. A number of officers are currently on scene, including K-9.
Police have a suspect in custody and are not searching for others at this time. There is no risk to the public.
Investigators with Forensic Identification Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are assisting with the investigation, which is in the early stages. Police will remain onscene while the investigation continues. There is no disruption to pedestrian or vehicle traffic.
