Due to the COVID-19 virus, Bide Awhile will be restricting access to the public and volunteers until further notice. We want to ensure the health and safety of our staff are not compromised during this time and feel limiting access to the building is crucial in making sure operations can continue within the shelter.
The animals are always our top priority and we are still available to take in cats that need to be surrendered. If you are looking to surrender, you can do so by appointment by calling 902-469-9578.
We know this may be a hard time for many who are unable to work due to the virus. Bide Awhile has a pet food pantry service, which is available to those who are unable to provide food for their cat or dog. Please give us a call to see how we can help.
We will continue to update the public on when normal shelter operations will resume.
