Halifax Regional Police is investigating a robbery that occurred this morning in Halifax.

At 12:01 AM on September 28th, officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Bluenose Market, located at 28 Titus St, in Halifax. A man entered the store and produced a knife and then demanded the clerk give him cartons of cigarettes and the money from the cash register. He was last seen leaving on foot towards Evans Avenue.
The employee was not injured.

The suspect is described as a white man, approximately 5’5” in height, between 20-30 years of age. He was wearing a grey hooded sweater, dark coloured pants, a dark blue baseball hat with a light blue brim, and brown dress shoes.

The investigation is in its early stages and Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation.
