Canada-wide arrest warrant issued
A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for a man wanted for incidents occurring in Halifax in January and reported to police in March.
On March 20, an arrest warrant was issued for Geordie Whyte, 38. Whyte is wanted for:
- Kidnapping
- Multiple firearms related offences
- Multiple breaches of probation orders
The victim involved in these incidents was known to Whyte and did not sustain any physical injuries.
Geordie Whyte is described as approximately 200 lbs, 6’2” tall with short black hair.
Investigators are asking anyone who sees Whyte or has information on his whereabouts to call police at 902-490-5020.
