Police Investigate Attempted Robbery – Dartmouth
At 9:45 p.m., 23 September, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of an attempted robbery that occurred in the 0-100 block of Kennedy Drive Dartmouth. The victim met a buyer for his vehicle.
However, while inspecting the vehicle the buyer produced a knife and attempted to take the vehicle. The victim was able to lock himself in his vehicle and the suspect fled on foot. The victim sustained minor injures and did not seek medical treatment.
The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction. Officers searched the area and could not locate the suspect.
The suspect is described as a white males, 30-40 years old, 6’ tall, average build and bald, wearing a grey hooded shirt and jeans.

Police Investigate Break & Enter – Halifax
At 6:30 p.m., 23 September, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a Break & Enter that took place earlier in the day, around 11:00 a.m., in the 100 block of Syliva Ave Halifax. Two masked suspects, one armed with a handgun and Taser and the other armed with a Baton forced their way into a residence and assaulted the resident. The home owner was able to fend off the two suspects who fled in a blue truck. The victim, a 40 year old male, sustained minor non-life threatening injuries.
The suspects are is described as:
Suspect #1 – White male, 5’6” 190 lbs. wearing a dark clothing, carrying a handgun and Taser.
Suspect #2 – White male, 5’11” 155 lbs. wearing black shirt and jeans, carrying a Baton.
Officers have not been able to locate the suspects. Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation which is in the early stages.
