Police Investigate Vehicle Collision – Dartmouth

At 7:42 p.m. Halifax Regional Police, HRM Fire & Emergency Service and Emergency Health Services responded to a report of a single vehicle collision at Woodland Ave and Mic Mac Blvd, Dartmouth.​ ​ Callers reported the collision of a single vehicle into a utility pole.​ Alcohol is believed to be a factor and there are several injured occupants.​ ​

Investigators from Patrol, Accident Investigation Section and the Forensic Identification Section are conducting the investigation, which is in the early stages.​ ​

UPDATE:

Officers confirmed the vehicle had three adults, a 28 yrs old male driver and two female passengers, 31 and 23 yrs old.​ The driver sustained serious, but non-life threatening injuries.​ The two female passengers sustain minor non-life threatening injuries.​ All three were transported to the hospital.​ ​

Investigators from Patrol, Accident Investigation Section and the Forensic Identification Section are conducting the investigation, which is in the early stages.​ Impaired driving charges are pending.​​ ​

Traffic Blocked: Just before 1:00 a.m., traffic on Woodland Ave and Mic Mac Blvd was.​
