Quick Response Saves Row House
Last Saturday, Station 5 was dispatched as a single unit for reports of an outside fire in the West End of #Halifax.
#hfxfirefighters arrived within 3 minutes, encountering heavy fire conditions at the back of a row house. The crew quickly deployed a fire hose and had water on the fire right away, keeping the flames contained to the exterior and preventing a total loss of the structure.
Response times matter. Fire fighters in fire stations, on fire trucks, matter.
