NS SPCA: Weekly highlight – Spud

Spud is a handsome boy with lots of energy to burn off. He loves to be outside going for walks or just hanging out in the backyard. This young guy does have some separation anxiety that we are working with so he would require someone who is patient and can continue to work with this. Spud doesn’t like to share his food or toys but is getting better at exchanging toys, so with some more training he can be easily managed with this behavior. He does enjoy pets and will lean into you for some loving. Spud is just a puppy still at heart so with a loving and patient home, we know he will make a great companion to love and care for.
Spud is estimated at 1.5 year old and is a neutered male lab mix at around 28 kilograms. He is looking for a home with adults only. Spud would be best suited to a home with no other animals. Spud is not available for apartments/condos due to his separation anxiety he can become fairly vocal.

Spud is available for adoption from the Dartmouth SPCA. Please use the following link and follow the steps to submit an application and request an appointment: novascotiaspca.ca/adoptionprocess
