Heeeeere’s Jessie!
For 2025 we have a BIG announcement: our new year-round Café Catio featuring Jessie the Bobcat is open!
Jessie is a new permanent resident and education team member. Come and meet Jessie, hear the story about how he came to us, and learn about one of our native big cats.
Being Hope for Wildlife, when we decided to build a place for visitors to be able to have a indoor rest and a snack, we knew it had to include an amazing view of an animal, and what better view is there than a bobcat? So we built a giant two-level catio enclosure around the café and called it the Café Catio!
Not only can you see Jessie up close from outdoors, but there’s a viewing window right inside the café. Don’t forget to say hello to Jessie up top on the way to our gift shop, too!
Our education centre is open from 12PM to 3PM on Saturdays year round! From May 1st to December 18th, it is also open Wednesdays from 12PM to 3PM.
Come have snack and a drink, or even an ice cream. Then visit the all the other education animals we have.
