NS SPCA Adoptable – Windsor
Meet Windsor, a handsome 11-year-old Border Collie who’s full of personality! Windsor loves being outside, especially when he has a bunch of balls to toss around and chase. True to his breed, he enjoys a good game of herding, (he can’t live with a cat) but he’s also content to curl up next to you for a nap when it’s time to relax.
Windsor is highly trainable and loves keeping his sharp mind engaged with basic training sessions. Though he has a 4/6 heart murmur and osteoarthritis, he continues to live life to the fullest with the help of long-term pain meds. He may be a bit shy at first and prefers slow introductions to new people and environments, but once he warms up, he’s a loyal and loving companion.
Windsor would thrive in an adult-only home where someone can be around most of the time to support his potty training progress (crate training is recommended). His sweet nature and love for life will bring endless joy and smiles. If you’re looking for a gentle, affectionate dog to share your life with, Windsor could be the perfect match for you!
Interested in adding Winsdor to your family, come by the Dartmouth SPCA shelter at 5 Scarfe Crt to meet him.
