Snowfall warning continues
Additional snowfall: 5 cm.
Locations: Atlantic coast counties and eastern Nova Scotia.
Time span: until this afternoon.
Remarks: For eastern areas of the province, snow is expected to transition to rain or ice pellets this morning and then back to snow again this afternoon.
Gusty northeast then northwest winds accompanying the snow may cause reduced visibility at times in blowing snow.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
Snowfall warnings are issued when significant snowfall is expected.
