Update: Police investigate vehicle-pedestrian collision
On October 31, approximately 6:50 a.m., officers responded to a vehicle-pedestrian collision on the corner of South Park Street and Spring Garden Road. The pedestrian, a 24-year-old woman, was struck by a Halifax Transit bus that she was attempting to catch up to. The woman was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Halifax Regional Police has concluded the investigation and has determined no charges will be laid and no summary offence tickets will be issued.
