Halifax Transit schedule and route changes – Monday, Aug. 26

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that Halifax Transit service changes will take effect starting Monday, Aug. 26:

  • Route 90: This route will have an increase in service frequency, operating every 15 minutes on weekdays during peak times.
  • Route 26: This route will see a change in trip times to better align with dismissal times at St. Agnes Junior High School.
  • Route 57: This route will be discontinued due to low ridership.
  • Schedule adjustments: Routes 21, 56, 72 and 401 will have minor schedule adjustments to improve service reliability.
  • Cogswell District Project detours: Cogswell-related detours for 30 bus routes that came into effect on June 17, 2024, will be reflected in new route maps and schedules.

These changes will better align the transit network to passenger needs and realign resources to better address service requirements. Visit our website for up to date changes to routes and schedules, including maps.
