Hurricane Ernesto is a Category 1 Hurricane, and forecast to enter into the Canadian Hurricane Centre Response Zone pm-Sunday, Aug 18th, and track southeast of Nova Scotia
[ECCC Canadian Hurricane Centre] “The only expected impacts for Nova Scotia will be heavy surf conditions with risk of rip currents along the Atlantic coast of the province Sunday and Monday. Showers from a very tropical airmass but not directly from the hurricane are likely on Monday as well. The centre of the storm will track well south of Nova Scotia.”
