Police seek public’s assistance in identifying suspect

Police are looking for the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in relation to an assault that occurred last month in Halifax.

At approximately 6:50 p.m. on July 27, police responded to a report of a physical disturbance in progress on a Halifax Transit bus. While on scene, police received a report that a man had been assaulted by another man. The suspect had left the area prior to police arrival.

The suspect is described as a white man in his twenties, wearing a black tank top, black shorts, black shoes with white socks and carrying a black Fit for Life duffle bag.
