Weapon charges and seized handguns
On August 27 at 2:14 p.m., officers responded to the 6000 block of Young Street in Halifax to a report of a pedestrian hit by a vehicle, and the vehicle had fled the scene.
Officers located a woman suffering from non-life threatening injuries and another car that was also hit by the run vehicle. Following a short investigation, the three occupants of the hit vehicle were arrested by officers. One of the occupants attempted to flee on foot but was quickly apprehended by officers at the scene.
Two loaded handguns, knives, a quantity of cocaine, cash and drug paraphernalia were located inside the vehicle.
The pedestrian was treated at the scene. The run vehicle is described as a gold colored SUV and it hasn’t been located.
24-year-old Nathaniel Dominic White of Halifax is being held in custody and is facing the following charges:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking Cocaine
- Possession of weapon dangerous
- Possession of a firearm without license
- Possession of a loaded restricted firearm
- Possession of a firearm contrary to order
- Possession of property obtained by crime
- Breach of probation x2
- Fail to comply with release order
26-year-old Decoda Levon White of Halifax is being held in custody and is facing the following charges:
- Resist Arrest
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
- Possession of a firearm without license
- Possession of a loaded restricted firearm
- Unlawfully carrying a firearm
- Fail to comply with release order
20-year-old Mariam Al-Husseini of Halifax is being held in custody and is facing the following charges:
- Possession for the purpose of trafficking cocaine
- Possession of a firearm without license
- Possession of a loaded restricted firearm
- Unlawfully carrying a firearm
