In recognition of National Police Week (May 12-18), the Nova Scotia RCMP is hosting an Open House at its Dartmouth headquarters, 80 Garland Ave., on May 16 from 4 to 6 p.m.
The Open House offers a unique opportunity for members of the public, including youth and children, to interact with RCMP officers and employees, view police equipment, watch tactical demonstrations, and learn about the RCMP’s role in community policing and crime prevention.
Attendees will also be treated to a performance by the Nova Scotia RCMP Pipes and Drums Band and Highland Dance Troupe.
