A local author from Dartmouth, Connie Dennis, has written an educational, children’s book about our beloved Osprey, Pickles, and his family that have been at the the nest at Russell Lake for many years.

It’s a wonderful, fun filled book with lot’s of interesting facts and photos taken by her husband Don Dennis.

For those of you that are unaware, the Osprey is Nova Scotia’s provincial bird.

For more information on the book you can join Connie’s Facebook Group, Ospreys of Nova Scotia.

All of the profits of the book go directly to @hopeforwildlife
