In photos – Darkside dippers dive deep into the freeze
On this St Patrick’s Day, dozens took to the chilly waters of Lake Banook, some in green and some for the first time!
This increasingly popular activity is said to be good for both mind and body, relieving stress, and aches.
Ofcourse, it isn’t as easy as it looks. It is always a good idea to research and go with those who are experienced for newcomers and always a good idea to buddy up for any level of experience.
The Darkside Dippers meet every Sunday at Lion’s beach, between Senobe & Banook (close to the boat club)
